After being convicted in 1973 of killing Pickens, Glenda Sue Harden
and three others in a monthlong killing spree, Putt is serving a
497-year sentence.

Putt remains in prison for the series of murders
he committed in 1969 in Memphis.
He is up for parole every seven to 10 years.
