Jarno Sebastian Elg is a Finnish satanist, who was sentenced to life in prison for murdering a 23-year-old man, who was not named, eating some of the body parts and instigating others to participate in a ritual that included torturing the victim and listening to heavy-metal music on November 21, 1998 in Hyvinkää. Elg's partners were 17-year-old Terhi Johanna Tervashonka, 20-year-old Mika Kristian Riska and a 16-year-old boy, who was not named.

The criminal investigation started when a leg was found from a dump site. The pieces were collected from a dump site, thus giving the name "dump site murder" to the case.

Elg was sentenced to life in prison. Tervashonka got eight years and six months in prison, because she was not an adult nor sane. Riska got two years and eight months in prison for assault and "violation of a grave".

The 16-year-old boy was considered to be innocent, because he said that the older men forced him to participate, but the others were convicted. The court declared most of the details of the case secret.

Tervashonka received eight years and six months in prison for murder committed while still a minor. A mental health examination found her to be partially insane. She was released from prison in 2003. In June 2007, Terhi Tukio (née Tervashonka) allegedly killed a man with a billhook. The trial for this murder begun on August 23rd 2007.

The Hyvinkää district court and Helsinki court of appeal declared most of the details of the case secret for 40 years.

Jarno Sebastian Elg, 24, was given a life sentence for killing a 23-year-old man in November and instigating others to participate in a ritual that included torturing the victim and listening to heavy-metal music.

The Hyvinkaa District Court in southern Finland sentenced Terhi Johanna Tervashonka, 17, to two years and six months in prison and Mika Kristian Riska, 21, to two years and eight months in the case. The victim, who was not named, suffered prolonged torture and eventually was strangled to death, the court said.
