The four lawyers who defended him at his trial turn around to
offer comfort to 77-year-old Gaston Dominici
after the French farmer had been sentenced to death for the murder
of an English family of three.

August 1962. In 1954 Dominici was convicted
of the 1952 murders of British biochemist Sir Jack Drummond (1891 -
1952), his wife Anne and their 10 year-
old daughter Elizabeth. He was sentenced to death, but this was
commuted to life imprisonment and he was
later released on humanitarian grounds. His conviction remains
controversial.
